• Express appreciation and congratulate Kuwait’s Foreign Minister on assuming the Chairmanship of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue.
  
   
• Thank Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Ali Akbar Salehi, for his leadership during Iran’s Chairmanship of ACD in 2010.
  
   
• Highlight Asia’s current challenges including from natural disasters and economic crisis.
  
   
• Emphasize the need to go beyond a business as usual attitude and strong cooperation in ACD to address challenges.
  
   
• Stress on the need for ACD to enhance Asia’s contribution to global processes and make its presence better felt in UN processes, in such areas as environment, food and energy security, and poverty alleviation, which are areas of importance to ADC.
  
   
• Welcome Kuwait’s proposed theme for the next ACD Ministerial Meeting.
  
   
• Highlight the need to focus on advancing on the outstanding projects in ACD areas of cooperation. 
  
   
• Proposed for ACD to enhance cooperation on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, given Asia’s proneness to disaster
  
   
• Express Indonesia’s readiness to strengthen ACD.
